Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity? Interfaith Community Services Mobile Meals might just have the opportunity for you.
The ICS Mobile Meals is in need of volunteer drivers to help deliver meals to house bound individuals.
Here are a few facts those who wish to volunteer should know:
Delivering meals takes approximately two hours once a week; reimbursement for volunteer driving assignments, are eligible for some mileage reimbursement.
The reimbursement is possible thanks to the Regional Transportation Authority and is managed by Pima Council on Aging, who partners with ICS. Reimbursement varies depending on the amount of funds available.
