Arizona DES recognizes ‘World Elder Abuse Awareness Day’

The Department of Economic Security (DES) announced earlier this week, that it will recognize June 15, as World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.  This recognition calls upon all Arizonans to do their part to prevent, identify and report the abuse, neglect and exploitation of vulnerable adults.

Police: Charges against Ironwood Ridge HS teacher dropped

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now)- Oro Valley Police say charges against an Ironwood Ridge High School teacher accused of having sexual relations with a student at the school have been dropped.

Robert Brush was arrested last month on charges of sexual misconduct with a minor.  

Brush's lawyer says charges were dismissed because there was not enough information or evidence to move forward with the case.

The investigation is ongoing.
