Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance presents Four Corners Festival

Immerse yourself in an artistic wonderland this weekend, at the Four Corners Festival.  There will be boutiques, restaurants, galleries and jewelers on site, as well as sculptors, performing arts groups and artists showcased on the four corners at Skyline Drive and Campbell Avenue.

Amber Norgaard Band brings music with soul to St. Philip's

Singer/songwriter, poet, peace warrior, and healer Amber Norgaard presents “Music with Soul” at St. Philip’s In The Hills Episcopal Church on Friday, October 21, at 7 p.m.

Amber will delight with song and story, fusing eloquent lyrics and passionate musical delivery with her full-band performance, which features six-time GRAMMY nominee and two-time Native American Music Award winner Will Clipman on drums, Tucson Music Museum inductee Jay Trapp on bass, and many-time TAMMIES winner Doug Floyd on electric guitar.

John Rutter's 'Requiem' is service music at St. Philip's Oct. 2

St. Philip's In The Hills Episcopal Church presents special music the first Sunday of each month.

On Sunday, October 2, St. Philip’s Adult and Children’s Choirs will perform John Rutter’s Requiem as part of the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services. In celebration of St. Philip’s 75th Anniversary, Judy Dodge, who served as Music Director and Organist at St. Philip’s in the early 1990s, is returning to conduct the Requiem.

GLOW again! this weekend

A chance to fulfill our GLOWing dreams with a revised glimmer of GLOW 2011. The event will be a more intimate and back to the basics GLOW experience and will take place primarily on and around the sculpture path, gallery, gift shop and outdoor kitchen area.

A main stage will be set up on the patio with a schedule of music and performances. There will be illuminated artwork and installations.

PCC painting students featured in gallery exhibit

On Saturday, June 4 there will be an artist reception at a gallery in Oracle.

The reception will feature the painting students of the Pima Community College Northwest Campus.

The exhibit will run from June 4 until June 19.
